Redeemed

Oh this was fun. This was a LOT of fun.
This is the beginning of a few comics I'm going to do on this theme, aka a battle between Heaven and Hell. Been something I've been interested in for a LONG time and was finally given the motivation and inspiration to do something based on it thanks to 'The Devils Carnival', a 56 minute musical short about 3 souls given the chance to redeem themselves. The idea behind this is that once a soul reaches Hell, theres no chance of redemption. Not because the soul doesnt deserve another chance but simply because the Devil should NOT be given the power to redeem people. If given the power, the Devil could redeem anybody and everybody, thus sending a sea of evil people to Heaven to fight his war/ruin Heaven. That idea freaking FASCINATES ME. Can't wait to see Episode 2 of the Devils Carnival to see how they approach this

Anyway part of Jezebels character was that she was sent to Hell for reasons beyond her control and that, once fallen, she could NOT return to Heaven. So this idea also leads onto her backstory which I have an excuse to show now X3

If you haven't figured it out yet, this is gonna be quite dark and theres likely gonna be a lot of theology involved, particularly related to Judeo-Christian belief systems about Heaven, Hell, God and the Devil. I won't be mocking anything like that but if you don't like that sort of stuff, I'd stay away from my Amaroth and Jezebel comics for a little while.
